What are monitoring-free days?
After 60 days of registered unemployment, you are entitled to 5 days of "monitoring holidays" (1 week). On these days you are exempt from the monitoring obligation, you do not have to make any work efforts and you also do not have to be fit for placement.
You can save up the 5 monitoring-free days, e.g. to take 10 days of "monitoring holidays" (2 weeks) after 120 days of monitored unemployment.
You may only take the holidays by the week. You must notify your RAV of the holidays 2 weeks in advance.
Monitoring-free days not taken cannot be carried over to a new qualifying period. Cash payment of unused control-free days is not possible.
